Qualifications

• High school diploma or the Equivalent

Supervisory Duties

Bus monitors supervise students while they are being transported

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

An individual who holds this position must:

• Supervise students over specified routes according to an established time schedule
• Assist the bus driver is maintaining an accurate record of bus ridership
• Assist students entering and exiting the bus, when needed
• Provide support for special needs riders and Pre-K riders
• Enforce the student discipline code
• Assist in performing bus inspections
• Participate in required training
